A couple of weeks ago I was kindly invited to try out Twisted London’s new vegan menu. I had never even heard of Twisted London before, so I was very intrigued to see what it was all about.  A quick google told me that Twisted London are a fast food place, specialising in chicken burgers. I mean, it doesn’t sound very vegan friendly, until I scrolled down and found the vegan menu and OH BOY I had hit the jackpot.  Twisted currently have four vegan items on their menu, delivering to both London and Leeds (just check if it's available in your area). A year ago, I was sat in the same spot writing my 2017 year in review in a stable relationship with great friends and extremely good mental health. A year on, I have none of those things, (except my friends are still great, I love you all). I guess this is why it has taken me almost two weeks to write this post, purely because I am nervous to look back on what was one of the worst years of my life. A month ago, I would not have even considered writing this, but, I am pleased to say that 2018 did have a happy ending. I am now in one of the best places mentally that I have been in a long time, and I can only thank my best friends for that. I would not even be alive writing this if it wasn’t for them.
