My Favourite Fake Meats

Image
If you follow my vegan Instagram, (which you should, it’s @emeatsvegan), you will know I love fake meat. I use it in a lot of my meals, purely for convenience. It is actually one of my new year’s resolutions to cut down on the fake meat and start making my meals from scratch, but as a final dedication to my love for it, I am going to share with you my favourites, (featuring a lot of Linda McCartney, as you can imagine). Fry’s Family Meat Free Nugs Starting off with my favourite, Frys Family Meat Free Nugs. I always go for the chicken style ones over the chia seed, but I am sure they taste great too. I love these as they will go with anything, and only take 10 minutes in the oven! It has been a long time since I have eaten meat, but from what I can remember, these taste pretty close to the real thing, (minus the gross fatty taste of actual meat). Meat free nuggets, peppers, cucumber, spinach, avocado, humous and sweet chilli sauce.  Instagram: emeatsvegan  Linda McC

It always takes me a couple of weeks to settle in to the New Year. I always tell myself I’m going to make a tonne of resolutions and stick to them, but I never do. This year, I’m feeling more positive that I can stick to my resolutions. Since I’ve had a couple of weeks of exams, I’ve decided to start my new year from today, (19 th January). Here are some new year’s resolutions I’m going to try to stick to: 1. Invest my money in more independent business Being a student, I am so tight with my money, purely because I do not have much of it, (student finance has really fucked me over). I follow a lot of independent businesses on Instagram, but I am not one to purchase from them. This year, I am going to change that.   I would much rather support independent businesses who need the money, rather than buying into chains. 2. Try Rawgust This is going to be a hard one for me, as if any of you follow my vegan Instagram, then you know I love everything Linda McCartney, (inserts

2017 felt as though it flew by. This year has treated me so well and has given me memories I will cherish forever. I thought I’d reflect on some of my person highlights of 2017. January 2017 started well as this was the month me and my boyfriend made it official. We’d been speaking for a few months and after a cinema date watching Fantastic Beasts, we decided to make it official. Me and Joe Instagram: emmalouisewagstaff January was also the month that me and my uni friends signed for our perfect house. After running around Leeds trying to get the papers signed by the agency, we got it and our landlord took bought us a drink to celebrate. (I forgot my ID so I drank water but it’s the thought that counted) Lily, Seila, Me, Jem and Alex Instagram: emmalouisewagstaff February In February, my bestest friend came up to Leeds for the night, after not seeing her for over a month. This was her first night out in Leeds and me and my other friend took her to a wagamama
